BURNLEY FC TO INTRODUCE DIGITAL SEASON TICKETS FROM 2026/27

Club confirms digital Season Tickets will replace Physical Season Ticket Cards

From the 2026/27 season, Burnley Football Club Season Tickets will be digital, replacing Physical Season Ticket Cards.

Digital ticketing is an important and exciting step in our efforts to improve the overall fan experience of all our supporters.

For our fans, this means that your digital Season Ticket will be managed through your Burnley FC ticketing account and accessible on your smartphone, making it easier than ever to manage your matchday.

• Enhanced Security: Your tickets are safer than ever, protected by digital encryption to give you total peace of mind.
• Effortless Access: Enjoy quicker, smoother entry into the stadium, with no worrying about losing or forgetting a physical card.
• Simple Sharing: Our improved transfer process makes it easy to legally share tickets with friends and family, while protecting our community against touting.

Season Tickets will be automatically delivered to supporters via email ahead of next season and can be easily managed in your online account from your desktop or mobile device.

We are working hard to improve the fan journey for all our supporters and would like to provide our fans with sufficient time to become familiar with their new digital ticket journey. We will be offering ticket journey tutorials and our Ticket Office and Supporter Services team will be more than happy to help as questions arise.

In addition, we will create new online educational resources, including explainers, how-to guides and FAQs.

Physical Season Ticket Card Applications

We know that not all fans will be able to access a Season Ticket on their smartphone. Exemptions for fans will be available for the following groups:

• Registered disabled supporters.
• Seniors aged 70 and over
• Juniors aged Under-14

While we aim to help all fans feel confident using digital tickets, we will allow exemptions on a case-by-case basis to ensure Clarets fans are not disadvantaged by the move away from physical season cards.

Registered disabled supporters, seniors and juniors who require a Physical Season Ticket Card may apply via an online form.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

The deadline for applications is 1st June.

All applicants will be contacted by the Ticket Office once the application window has closed.

Additional Information

All Physical Season Ticket Cards are deactivated at the end of each season.

Supporters requiring a Physical Season Ticket Card must reapply each season.
