How to Report an Incident During a Matchday

If you witness or experience offensive, discriminatory language, or behaviour that makes you feel unsafe or threatened, you can discreetly report it to the security team:


1. Text 'REPORT' to 62277

  • You’ll receive a reply with a link.
  • Click the link and fill out the form with the details.
  • All texts are anonymous and free of charge.

Your report will be sent directly to Burnley FC’s matchday security team, who will investigate immediately. This may involve intervention by stewards, direct observation, or remote monitoring via security cameras around the stadium.


2. Contact a Steward

  • If you feel safe to do so, notify a steward with as much detail as possible so the issue can be addressed promptly.

You can also report discrimination through Kick It Out:

  • Online: Submit a report via the Kick It Out website.
  • Mobile App: Download the Kick It Out app for iOS or Android. The app allows you to attach video, photo, and audio evidence to support investigations.
  • Phone: Call 0800 169 9414 to speak directly with a Kick It Out representative.

All reports made via the above methods will be treated in strict confidence. If you wish to remain anonymous, you have the option to do so.
